i remember pippa and co and home and away was the perfect life we all wished for growing up. but recently anytime i watch it i have to wonder, are we really expected to take this sh!t seriously. sdoes any1 out there still watch it for any reason other than to take the piss? also, i thought the place burnt down last year and was due to fish. what's up with that?

The cast turnover is way too high. You stop watching it for a few months and switch back and it's all new people, not the same show at all.

Whats with the stories these days? I mean, the old days you had teens sleeping with each other, car accidents, more teen sex etc.

But now you have amnesic girls who can only speak Pig Latin until their memory miracously returns, a twat who breaks his back, recovers, charges his teacher with sexual harassment, becomes the controversy of a reality TV show and jets off for the highlife as a Hollywood actor all within the same 6 months, and Alf Steward going from local busy-body to local psychic after a near-deth experience, the only reason for which was Alsia wasn't get enough work as of late...

I could write more realistic storylines wiping my arse across a keyboard...

I think Home and Away is great. Even when the story lines are terrible I loved to watch it just so I can slag the hell out of it. It's such an addictive soap to watch - I'd be lost without my daily fix.

Few months ago the Angie Russell storyline was one of the best in soap history. I've never seen such an evil character in a soap - it was a sad day when they killed her off but it was a natural end to the story. Since then Kane has taken over as the evil entity in the soap - he always does a good job of pissing off the inhabitants of Summer Bay. Hope they keep him around for a while but it looks like his days are numbered.

In fairness though H&A always had some ridiculous storylines, though it's a bit out of hand at the moment. Who remembers Jenna/Lara? Or Bobbi coming out of Ailsa's fridge? Or the ghost telling Stephanie he was trapped under a caravan?

I think the storylines in h&A are OTT but its TV not RL...
its an esape from reality....
i usually get home from work around 6:30 andd i wwatch iit before cooking dinner. it relieves the stress from a day of work

i agree. angie russel was class.one of the better actresses on the show. she played the super bitch really well. kill off sally and ill be happy. she's awful annoying.

I'd love to see Flynn or should I say Superman bite the dust. That guy is in practically every scene always saving the day. Maybe him and Sally will get in a fight and kill each other. Keeping the fingers crossed.

Yeah, that'd be worth seing. They should kill each other Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner style in the War of the Roses. That would make some good viewing!!

that show is so bad, i used to suffer through it when there was nothing else on the box
yer one colleen or whatever, she is REALLY annoying, whining and stupid
sally is also rediculously annoying, why is she still on there

alf was one of the few bareable ones before they made him wacky, that said his wife was also extremely annoying
