It can't be wussy, because I say "Mum" too. That would imply I have wussy tendencies, an absurdly false notion!

    depends on my mood...:)

usually its mum, but i like to mix it up a bit sometimes and call her mammy or bee-atch. keeps things fresh. she knows i mean it in the most affectionate way possible.

she signs text messages mom tho. dunno why. none of us call her that.:dunno:

We all call her mum, but when she sends texts she signs them mom too. I wonder why they do that? Probably some big big conspiracy directed by America to make us talk like them:eek:

NEVER mum - she would deck me.

Mamaí - but I do think it's really odd that ppl can't just call their parents by their normal names.

mam, sometimes ma, which she gives out to me for, or if i refer to her as me ma. also refer to her as the mother. i also thinks its weird for people to call there parents by the first name.

somewhat on topic what do you call your grandparents.

    mine is nana and granda

"Mobile milk bar" -- to punish her for giving me a gawd awful book on the facts of life.

Her real name .. did up till I was 6 ... then I used to stay with my aunt and uncles for a while .. and my uncle made me call her mammy .. which just confused the **** out of me for bout 3 years .. cause that wasn't her name! and made me call him Uncle 'his real name' .... odd man.

but since 9 I've been callin her by her real name. She only responds when I call her by her real name. Makes sence though ... there must be billions of people called Mom/Mammy/Mum ... its not really a personal nick name is it?
