Basically, Ive been reading through the topics for the last week, actually a bit interested in maybe taking up Archery and it seems all you lot do is argue and are involved in one upmanship on each other constantly.

I just cant believe anyone lets any of you control a weapon or sharp object

Even in light of the recent controversy, that's not a fair characterisation. Leaving aside the moderation issues, there's a lot of good-natured banter between archers who know each other personally, which is different from oneupmanship. As madrab says, ask and ye shall receive.

we are a bit questionable in the sanity part... but as far as the last few days stuff, its just a bit of a storm in a tea cup.....
should settle down now, hopefully.
we're not always this bad,
Plenty of clubs round the place to give the sport a go...

Im in DCU but since the word on the street is that they are a bit boring, Im thinkin maybe thats not the Number 1 option

I've been chairman for 2 years. I need to let the club stand on it's own two feet now.

Constitution dictates that you can only have the same committee post for 2 years running.

Still I need to let others take care of it. It's not an easy job!
