T-shirt shrinking

OK, I've got a serious, life-affecting dilemma here. I've got a t-shirt that's too big. I quite like it, but unfortunately, I don't know where I'd find a smaller one like it, so I'm going to have to shrink this one. My question is, does anyone know what the best way to go about shrinking a t-shirt is? There's a design printed on the back, and the washing instructions say "machine wash cold, tumble dry medium". Also, the tag says it's made from preshrunk cotton, which I assume does not bode well for the shrinking project, but still, if anyone has any tips that might help, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

    steam it! steam it HARD!

or, hand it in to a dry cleaners, tell them that it is EXTREMELY delicate (They won't check the label,so don't worry) and important to you... and let them shrink it for you.

you could take up sewing and take it in.

Scan it in and go to one of those shops that print on to a T-Shirt :D

be very careful - it might not shrink evenly and it migh shrink too much.

Man, I was hoping for something along the lines of helpful washing or drying instructions, but hey, this is good.

Give it to your girlfriend to wash, and tell her it's your favourite t-shirt.
    Worked for me :)
