I've just installed XP and partition it using XP. Now one of the partition is missing. Its only showing half of my hdd. I've read the solution here somewhere before but I couldnt find it now.

Also my laptop keys are a bit screwy. Numbers 0123456 are now at mjkluiop. I have to press the Fn key to use the alphabet. How do I change this back.

    Thanks.

For the partition problem, right-click on My Computer, click Manage and then you use the Disk Management snap-in (look on the left) to see the way your partitions are set up. You can delete a wonky one there and make a new one. Don't worry, you can't delete the one with XP installed on it.

The laptop problem sounds like you've activated Numlock. Look for a key with NumLock or Num Lk (Compaq) and press it WHILE holding down the Fn key. If it's a Compaq laptop, there's a led with a padlock with a '1' inside it as the Numlock on/off indicator.
