The Microset Sessions, Friday 26th of March features a great lineup of musical talent from Ireland and the U.K.

    Declan O’Rourke:

Regarded as one of the brightest lights on the music scene. Having supported Damien Rice, Jemma Hayes and Paul Brady to name a few and currently touring with Paddy Casey, Declan makes his second appearance on the Microset stage this Friday.

'He is a really good writer and singer [and] one of the artists I would most like to see getting more attention"
    Paul Brady.

    Terry Sutton:

Front man of the Label, a band generating some great interest both here and in the UK and with a reputation as a blistering live outfit, Terry will be making his debut at the Boom Boom Room Friday. Having just returned from playing some dates with Damien Rice and Josh Ritter in Italy it’s sure to be an exciting set.

    Kal:

Kal is developing a reputation of her own, one of the most promising songwriters around. Gigging constantly in support of her music, her songs and her voice are getting her nothing but positive feedback from both audiences and musicians. In her previous performances at the Microsets she literally silenced the crowd. One to watch!

    Julia Harris:

As part of Welsh band Westgate Street, a band the BBC urged the world and his wife to go and see, Julia was at the centre of very creative musical environment. Listing Tracy Chapman, Dave Matthews and Portis Head among her influences Julia has one of the most unique and vibrant sounds around and will be accompanied by some members of Westgate Street during her set.

    Miriam Ingram:

Mixing new and well-trusted technology, Miriam combines the best of acoustic sounds and laptop possibilities, her set on Friday will include a double bass, electric and acoustic guitar and a laptop, and all in the hands of some very talented musicians plus an appearance from a special guest, Miriam’s set is not to be missed.

Hope to see you all there!!
