I'm going over to Holland on the 8th of April, my girlfriend is dutch and the long distance thing is getting sickening, so I'm hoping to get a job ASAP when I get over there on the 8th. I dont have a degree or anything and my CV involves a lot of basic work but at the same time I have a lot of experience mainly inthe fields of logistics/labouring/warehouse/forklift driver/ good computer knowledge (probably a degree at this stage ;))
forestry/bar work etc... anyone have ideas on recruitment companys irish companys/factories based in Holland that i could apply to. I'm not going to be at all fussy and will probably take the first job i can get to start off.
I dont think the whereabouts of the job is that important owing to hollands public transport system and it being a small country and all but if its any help ill be based in arnhem.
    Advice appreciated.

ok Holland is a very difficult place to get a tech job or anything like that, you have to be able to speak and write dutch fluently, I lived there for the last 20 or so months and could not get any type of tech job, even though I have a degree and a substantial ammount of computer knowledge. All employment is done through agencies, (which really sucks) this is basically a way for the companies to get cheap labour, because you sign a contract with the agency you get none of your normal working rights, expect no pay on sick days .etc and expect to be moved from job to job. Trust me on this, I know !!!
However i imagine that having a forklift driver licence would be a big advantage, bear in mind you NEED to be qualified. If you are you should have an easier time, Arnhem is a nice place, One of the companes which i worked for (through susa agency - Utecht) was frans mass in Montfort. I know that they would have work for you, if you have a fork lift licence. Apart from the blatent work related discrimination against non-nationals , its a cool place, nice social life, very quiet .etc, and the people are pretty cool.
