data rapidly searches the apple website and comes up with 4gb and 250 dollars and your choice of a variety of colours. i think the normal 15gb one is only 300 dollars though

if your thinking of an ipod get the 15 gig ipod instead of the 4 gig mini ipod as the 15 gig is only 50 dollars more expensive and it's worth it for 11 extra gigs

You can get all those bootleg Louis Vuitton handbags and all that. Good present for your Ma or girlfriend. Bootleg DVDs are also cheap enough.

If shes got a really big bag then I suggest a Cadillac Escalade, white with 20" spinners and blacked out. Nice.:)

Ooh, and go find some peanut butter M&Ms. They are, as you young lads like to say, "teh win"...

Is there any problem with using a US ipod over here? Thinking of the charger... though I bought an ethernet switch in the US a few years ago and it had a convenient international (110-240v) power supply.

Buy the entire Ramones back catalogue ... actually makes no difference if you're going to the US or not ... just buy it.

well there are two ways of doing it

    1. buy a charger from the apple store in kildare st. when you get home

    2. charge off the firewire port on your PC (this doesn't work with USB2 cable)

    Twizzlers.
I brought back loads of them when I was over there in January. All gone now. I need more.
Digital cameras are cheap over there as are the memory cards. My one cost me 200 dollars the same one is up town for almost 600 euros.

    3. Cheapest and easiest... If you slide off the US plug you'll notice that a standard power lead can fit into the socket.. No need to spend money on an Apple plug..

The power supply is 100-240 volts. You will probably need an adapter though, since the pins are different.

Oooh, and get him to bring back some dairy milk. Slightly more expensive than here but worth it 'cos they aren't as sweet and don't melt and go sticky.......

Bring back as much Hershey's and Reese's chocolate as you can fit in your suitcase.

Those Merkins really know their candy.

Big Red also owns my bones, pity it seems to be unavailable here anymore :/
