Yup - it's a normal nine to five for me today, and I'm in for the rest of the week. Can't say I'm too bothered, Paddy's Day is always crap and even if you do go to the pub, you can't move.

count yerselves lucky... it's pissing rain now so theres no chance of any outdoors activity. So much for Met Eireann saying "ohh yeah, nice day with a couple of light showers"

Makes me feel somewhat better to know that at least lots of little kiddies are going to get soaked.

A normal working day in the UK - I'm on the early shift though so I'll finish at 4 and enjoy a few pints. Have taken the first half of tomorrow off to enjoy my hangover:D

Something similar here for me in Austria. Best mention to the boss I might be a tad late tomorrow!

I'm in 8 til 2.....the joys!!! Although weather looks like its about to break so maybe I'm better off indoors, although a pub would be better the spot than here!

I'd guess rymus is in Cork where theres just been a heavy shower.
For the record todays forecast from the met Éireann website
Bright and fresh today. Sunshine and scattered blustery showers, Some areas dry throughout.

I've been working since early this morning and will be all day.
Lovely sunny, totally dry and mild here in Wicklow.

Damn I wish I was in your country, UK opening hours are draconian. Squeezed in 2 pints a lunch though, which was nice....

Go to your nearest Irish-friendly (or Irish themed, even - so long as it's not an utter dive), I'd wager a few of them will be amenable to having a lock-in tonight. At least, they did when I was over in UK when I went to college.

I am off today but I have to work Saturday in lieu of today. I work for a UK company in Ireland so we dont get Paddy's day ever.
