So does anyone on the boards play this game???

i am currently putting together 3 fleets (Imperial, chaos and Necron) about 2000 points each.......

so anyway anyone else play?

Haven't played in a while. I have somewhat basic imperial & chaos fleets, and have a mind to build up an eldar fleet

I've a Chaos fleet at home, but it hasn't been out in a while. A battleship, grand cruiser, dozen or so cruisers and heavy cruisers, and as many escorts.

Still sitting in boxes are a planet killer, several more battleships, repulsives and cruisers, as well as a few blisters of escorts.

Not too sure what size the fleet comes out to.

well cruisers tend to cost around 200 points on average and battleships between 4-5 hundred and each escort is around 50 to 60 points......that is a very very large fleet.

and then the planet killer.....i have no idea of cost, but i think it would be the same as a battleship right?

you see this is waht i mean. I have a necron tombship, 4 scythe harvesters, a shroud and 6 Escorts. this comes to over 2000 points, which is plaenty big for an action. Cost me around 150 Yoyos (not sure exactly as mail order from steling.) and well thats a full army!!!

Fairly large, aye. I've never had a big enough game to warrant more than a single battleship, so far.

More. I think its around the 650 mark .. might be more.

I've only played Necrons once, and didn't much care for the expereince. That was quite a while ago though, and I know they've been toned down since.

BTW, if anyone is looking for floating coffins for their lackeys of the carrion god, I have several not doing anything.

Agree that the necrons are a bit odd. they are way too fast. but they are a bit more balanced than they orignally read. i thought the save was cool, then realised that was all that stopped hits getting through.

had a game earlier on, which i had one by the fourth turn, because one ship that i destoryed rolled a warp explosion thing. which reduced one of his cruiser's to 2 hits....and a collapsed shield and removed his remaing escorts. to my losses of 3 escorts.....that was ok. Lucky as i was in a problem that one cruiser and battleship were out of postion for at least 2 turns.

I have a small Imperial fleet - can't remember off the top of my head how many points.
