sky sports package

    I remember some time ago, a few people were on here saying they could get a package with all the skysports(1,2,3,E) and a few movie channels for around the €50 mark. I basically have the full package(€61) and paying for mostly movies i never watch, so am going to cut them out but keeping 1 or 2 of them would be nice...
    What was this package referred to...C1?????

    I got it at xmas, it was a limited 3 month offer (sadly due to expire in a few weeks). It appears to have been targeted to subscribers who only had the family package. I'd like to keep on both movies and sports but not at those prices.

    It's called Package 1G and gets you:

    Sky Sports 1
    Sky Sports 2
    Sky Movies 2, 4, 6 & 8

    BUT, because you get Sky Sports 3 as a free bonus channel when you subscribe to Sky Sports 1 OR Sky Sports 2 and you get Sky Sports Extra as a free bonus channel when you subscribe to Sky Sports 1 AND Sky Sports 2, you effectively finish up with Sky Sports World and Sky Movies 2, 4, 6 & 8 for £33 (sorry, don't know the ROI (€) price). As Sky Sports World is £33 anyway, that means the 4 Movie channels are free!

    I'm just off the phone to a very nice lady in Sky (what a difference compared to NTL) and have upgraded to package 1G for an extra €1 a month. Like the chap above says, you get Sky Sports World plus movies 2, 4, 6 and 8. You could go for movies 1,3,5,7 and 9 instead for an extra €1.50 a month.

    LFCFan.....Whats the cost...And i assume they cant take the extra sports channels off when they decide too....

    I was paying €49 for Sky World Sports package. Now I'm paying €50 for Sky World Sports plus Sky Movies 2,4,6 and 8. She never said anything about it being a special offer, it's just one of the packages available.
