    Hi,
Anyone know of any free software that tells you if someone is trying to ring in while you're online. Heard of something a while ago that gives u the caller's number but can't remember the name. A lot of stuff on the net seems geared to the US market so was wondering if anyone has any experience here with dear old Eircom lines.

AFAIK, all this stuff uses v92 and all Irish ISP's only support v90. Could be wrong though.

I think in the states you can get a service where you divert the call to another number where the caller gets a voicemail and the caller ID is then sent to you over web and notification of whether or not they left a message. Obviously thats not available here but its a nice system in that it doesnt depend too heavily on your setup.

I have ISDN at home and with Windows 2000 phone dialer, I can see the number of the incoming caller.

    Slaanesh.
