    LO folks.

Does anyone know the differences between the Secure Digital and Multi media Cards ?

Apart from the fact the SD card has a secure switch on the side. is there any noticable performance differences? i/e write/read times. speed etc?

Because the price differences between them is sometimes fairly substantial!

Had a google it seems its a it faster? any RL experiances?

    Cheers

    S.

yeah SD's are faster, but i don't know by how much.
but there is also different speeds of SD's.
i think the sandisk ones are meant to be very slow.
you should take a look on ebay.

Just FYI, pricestorm and 7dayshop are cheapest at the moment for SD cards (and mmc and smartmedia too) :)

    Check out this roundup.

    It is what it's.
