    Was over in the usa last week. Was there for 2 weeks and there are lots of shows going on over there. One is that there is about 12 people all trying not to get fired by the billionere. If you win the show you get to run some of his hotels/companys.

    Another one was, that a young woman was put into a room of 25guys and after a month she had to pick one guy who she wanted to date more and even get married. In fact there was a few of these shows. Some of them at the end of the show you would get 500k$ or a million.

    Over all i thought jee this is getting s***. I have to say i have watched one or 2 of the shows just to c what they were on about. But after that would not look at them again just a big time waster. UTV and BBC are doing the same. I guess alot of people are watching them for so many of these shows to be on tv.

    American TV is sooo bad (I just spent 10 days in Florida)

    Amongst the pearls of reality TV I spotted:

    Eden - a never-ending reality tv show, supposedly. Bunch of ppl on a paradise island, they sit around enjoying the luxury all day. They receive 1000 dollars each for every day they stay on the show. The catch: one person is eliminated every day and replaced by a new-comer. The idea is to stay on for as long as possible and make a lot of money.

    Another show, Can't remember name but it's a crazy idea: Girl hangs out with a bunch of guys, half of the guys are gay. The girl must try to figure out which ones are gay and eliminate all the gay guys until only her chosen guy is left. If the girl ends up picking a straight guy, they both share the prize money. If the girl chooses a gay guy, he gets to keep all the cash.

    I also saw the end of Average Joe - it was so stupid. The girl picked the hunky but insincere (for anyone with half a brain) guy over the slightly geeky but still good-looking and nice guy who really loved her. Girl and hunk go off on honneymoon (or non-married equivalent thereof) with hunky guy and reveals her big secret to him : she dated a guy called Fabio before. Now, I don't know who this Fabio is but I suspect it was either another, previously eliminated contestant or a famous soft-porn star whose photos are to be seen on the covers of Mills and Boons-type books (I remember sb told me about a guy like that once). So, hunky guy gets really pissed off, dumps the girl and goes off in a huff Presumably, after the two had sex as well. What a dumb girl! I really don't get, though, why a person would care about their lover's former partners (unlsee they had STDs or something). Maybe hunky guy was just fed up of the girl or decided he'd be able to score with lots of other women now that he had become a celebrity - who knows?

    Normally I wouldn't but America is a very boring place if you don't have a car and lots of money.

    I googled and yes, the girl dated Fabio, a male model. I'd post his pic up but it's completely repulsive. Google him at your own risk!

    Well apparently what happened on that show is this: the hunky guy wasnt interested in her really. He used to show to get spotted by hollywood in hjopes of furthering his acting career. He used the fact that she dated this horrible Fabio creature as an excuse to back out of dating her. All he wanted was to win and she deserved it for picking him after he told her befoer hand that he hoped to get into acting after people saw him on the show. The other guy was genuinly interested in her but since he wasnt as attractive she dissed him.
    Basically she deserved what she got.

    This other show is starting with the previous average joe loser and all the girls he gets to pick from look like supermodels, so the loser from the show you saw will most likely get teh same treatment.
    The loser gets a show where he gets to pick from beautifuls girls...ironic isnt it? he wants someone to choose him for his inner self not for his looks and yet he is choosing from girls who are pleasing to the eye....TV, pffft :rolleyes:
