I tremble with fear for this. I really don't think it'll be remotely good. I reckon I too will shiver in sheer terror when I see this, mummbling "Please....kill me!" and wait immolation from a flame thrower.

Okay I know the buzz is not all that good for Paul WS Andersons next mass media adaptation (it was a comic and a video game long before this) but I for one am pretty damn excited...

the alien effects look ace and its back to the James Cameron style of Alien...
no more brown vague look from the Alien 3 or A:Ressurection

Further evidence of this is that it's in the ship(aka the vagina) where all the eggs are found.
Yeah, Giger apparantly has sexual undertones in a lot of his designs.

Would you like like fries with that? Wasn't there an article in Empire Magazine recently were some of the writers had seen portions of the film before SFX had been added and loved it?

empire have given alot of terrible terrible films 4/5 stars..

the patriot for example..
pearl harbour..
titanic..
the new italian job..


and they may have liked it, but id imagine they went into the film thinking it was going to be the worst film ever..
when in fact its not..but it is close.

Speaking of HR Geiger, I made the mistake of buying a book of his art, which played up the alien connection on the cover. There was some fantasic stuff in it, but he has some truly fuked up ways of painting his mother.... not the most normal chappie in the world I'd say.

As for AvsP..... muck. Mostly because of who's directing it, he's a useless bastid, I can't figure out why he keeps getting potentially good movies to mess up.
