Buying contact lenses online

    I wasn't sure which forum to put this into. This seemed like the best one to me.

    I was thinking about buying my contact lenses online as the savings appear to be quite dramatic. Buying from the UK websites would seem to save one about 1/3 and I've seen US websites which offer even more off.

    Does anyone have any experience with getting their contacts this way?

    I think they are based in Ireland and delivery to UK and Ireland is
    free.

    I dont know how it compares price wise to other sites.

    I was also thinking about doing this... What do you need perscription wise to be ablr to order them? I used to wear contact about a year ago, and I want to go back to usign them, so can I just get an eye test that will give me the info that i need to ive the website for the correct ones or how does it work?

    was just checking out the strengths they have on the site and it only goes as far as -10. i'm already -7.5 and my eyes get about .5 worse every year!!!
    by the time i'm 25 i'm gonna need a white stick!!!! :eek:

    seriously cheaper than buying them through the opticians!!
    if i were to buy online i'd be saving about stg£84 a year!!!! :eek:
