you also get free txts to 085 for life as long as you top up. And you keep ur number, inlcuding the prefix.

I thought that offer ended at New Years? That's when I changed, every month I get an extra €10 credit and free Meteor Messages so long as I put in €20.

it did end but they renewed it again, i'd say there was a major drop off in sales that coincided

some people lol yes rumours, say that only people who had it before newyears can continue to get it.

Thought it would be stupid myself. One of my main reasons for using meteor, gotta love them free txts and cash rewards. MMS now too thats free with the free txts. Now if only you could send MMS msgs to other networks and recieve them from other networks.

One thing thats lacking for me.

I've had meteor for ages now so I don't know about the free credit every month but with o2 you had to top up to get the 10 credit extra every month.

Actually, I really want to change to 085, but I have a GX10 which is exclusively vodafone isn't it? Will they unlock it if i ask them to?

They don't have to, though I think after a year they become obliged to remove the network lock. When I switched I rang them up and told them I was moving to France and needed my phone to work over there. I assumed that if I told them I was switching network they'd either refuse or take their time.

This sounded too good to be true, so I went into Meteor today.

The deal is that you get a free Sim Card. Over the next 10 months, you get €10 "free" credit each month but only if you top up by €20 in that month.

So basically all that you said is true, but the €10 every 10 months is only if you spend €20 each month, and if you don't top up by €20 in any of those months, you miss out on your €10 free credit.

It's still a great deal, though, especially with the free Meteor to Meteor texts.
