Any advice regarding putting Linux on my OLD Dell laptop?

I've got an old Dell Inspiron 7000, and I want to switch to Linux. Are there any Linux distributions that I wouldn't be able to put on it? I've got 300MHz, 128MB RAM (I think) and 6GB hard disk. Is there a minimum hardware requirements for any distributions that I should know about? I don't want to get some discs and find out that I can't use em.

    Never go back.

Windows is a waste of your life.

You should be able to install any distro with that spec, but as with any OS and PC, it depends what you want to do with it after install. If you can afford some more RAM, I'd say it would be worth getting.

I plan to go all the way. Windows has been annoying me lately. (especially since I've been learing more about using Linux).

Well it's good to know I don't really have to worry about it not working once I've installed it. Thanks.
