    Meteor phone network crashes temporarily

Services to customers on the Meteor mobile phone network were disrupted for more than an hour this morning following a technical glitch while the operator's network was being examined.
A spokesman for the company said the problem was reported at approximately 8 a.m. He said services to all 085 customers had been restored by 9.30 a.m.
He said a "major expansion in terms of upgrading the network had resulted in a small hitch". He added that the "silver lining" for customers was that once the upgrade was complete such network failures would be "impossible" in future.
Meteor is the third largest mobile operator in the State with more than 180,000 customers.

Hmmm, "impossible" is a dangerous word to use :)
