I've found the UAE emulator to be very tricky to get set up. If the game you want, Zool for instance was also out on the PC then it might be worth your while having a look at some Abandonware PC game sites first.

www.the-underdogs.org is a good place to start.

Even after my step by step instructions!! ....
Just kidding;) As a rule if it was released on Amiga and the PC stick with the Amiga version, why you might ask?? Simple. The sound effects on the PC are always brutal in comparison. Compare Games like Cannon Fodder, Frontier Elite II and Supremacy and you'll get the picture. If your running w2k or WinXP you'll probabily have trouble getting old dos games working anyway:)

You're instructions were great! But I downloaded one or two more old favourites, Beneath a Steel Sky was one of them, but just couldn't get my head around how to set them up on UAE and then run them!
There was one game Dragon Lord that was on two disks but there was no .adf files to call disk one and two.
    *sniff*:(

Hmm...Drop by #emulation.ie for some help but for BASS i hope your not trying to juggle 15 .adf images;) Visit http://whdload.de/ for a HD installer. Not the one BASS uses itself! As for Dark Lord if its the game Im thinking off its a text based Adventure and I have it on the c64 not the Amiga. I'll take a look around to see if I can find any links to the an Amiga game of the same name tho. Can you remember the developer or publisher? or even what year you played it:) Anything could help!

I think its called Dragon's Breath as well. I posted about it in another thread here in Emulators with a description.
I will be home next weekend so I will have a look at the files that came in the .zip file and post back here with the problem in detail,

    thanks LogiE!
