    Maynard James Keenan (Very haunting)
    Ryan McCombs (Wow!)
    Chris Cornell (Soulfull and powerful)
Chester Bennington (Hate the fukker, but there's no denying his vocal power.)
    Jack Black (The range!?!)
Brian Johnson (Ballsy yet high pitched)
Robb Flynn (Throat tearing and yet sometimes tender)
    Morgan Lander (Awesome growl)

Always thought Chino Moreno wasn't very good tbh, generally off key.

    1. Hansi Kursch (current favourite, especially amazing on NIME and IFTOS)
    2. Robert Plant (not already mentioned!!!)
    3. Bruce Dickinson (blaze sucks)
    4. Brian Johnson (whats with that range? I cant tell where falsetto kicks in)
    5. Serj Tankian (versatile, not as good on the first album)
    6. Tony Kakko (feeling)
    7. James Hetfield (tone)
    8. Dio (great tone and vibrato)
    9. Ian Gillian (child in time)
    10. Russell Allen (I've only heard 3 symphony x songs, accolade is great, I think hes going to get a lot higher on my list)

Also Freddie Mercury, Chris Cornell, Rob Halford, Ozzy, James LaBrie

Oh, and Mickey Harte, James Kilbane, and Chris Doran:) (Damit I'm embarrassed to know their names)

Blaize Bailey?! What are you on woman. Dickinson's better by a mile.

If we're sticking strictly to Rock/Metal I'd have to say:

    Dickinson
    Cornell
Serj Tankian from System of a Down, that voice demands respect
Zack de la Rocha (not a singer but he can do a whole lot of shouting)
    Brian Johnston
    Robert Plant
    Freddy Mercury
Yer Woman from Evanescance, they're not all that but she's a damn good singer.
Axl Rose may be a twat but his voice demands respect and I grudgingly give him this place
    Andy Kerans from Therapy?

Not really a rock voice, but does Tori Amos count?

I'm not going to repeat all the names that have been mentioned as most of them are indeed great, but nobody's mentioned Mark Lanegan so I thought I'd straighten that out. Scary voice, scary ****er. I like John Garcia as well.

    Roger Daltry

    Geddy Lee (really!)

    Mike.

    Brian Johnson... yes.... obvious choice.
Female? Sheryl Crow has one of the best voices.... (thats' voices, not music,) I've ever heard. Her range is brilliant.
Some of the Vegas legends don't get enough credit though. Sammy Davis Jnr was smooth. So too was Sinatra. You can't limit this to rock.
Dammit, even George Michael has a brilliant voice. More control than any man I've heard. His live performances are unblemished.
Aside from those and back to rock........ Black Francis. Jeckyl and Hyde voice.
Freddie Mercury too. Really creative vocals.
