Now I know this has nothing to do with satelite but hardly no one visits any other fourm around here.

Who do you think will win Your a Star.

    I think Jean will.

I think it's unfair to let the judges pick the songs for the contestants.
    :)

    It's really hard to say.

I would have said Chris Doran (shock horror he got a Westlife penned song ), but I've a feeling that there may be a strong anti-Louis Walsh aspect to the voting from some quarters.

Not impressed with any of the songs though.

Maybe you should check out the TV forum. There's a thread about You're a star here. :)

They don't have any interactive features set up yet. AFAIK they've just put out the tender but either way at the moment they've got nothing. There will be piddling around with cost centres for a while yet before we see any development there.

so maybe we might expect it around the year 2030? so RTE can catch up with the times.

The Aertel software which they are using was written by an English company and is prehistoric. If they are trying to build an interactive platform around this software I wouldn't expect any progress before the next millenium.

My company has a couple of Aertel pages and we talked to RTE a couple of years ago about updating them automatically from our SQL database over the net. Suffice it to say that we are still doing it manually with a modem and a dongle
