Buying from amazon.com

    Im looking at buying an mp3 player. Seeing as amazon.com are over a hundred euro cheaper than amazon.co.uk i want to get it from there. I have an uncle living in the states, if i order it to deliver to him, and if he then sends it on to me, will i avoid import duty?

    Legally - no. However, personal mail isn't opened by customs very often, so you stand a good chance of not paying duty.

    No guarantees though!

    go for it id say... even if you did have to pay sum customs it wud prob be cheaper! if i knew someone over there i wud buy stuff all the time!! :)
