    Victor.

As a matter of interest, what bikes are they auctioning?

Are they the bikes the Gardai use themselves or bikes confiscated as a result of criminal activity?

I'm not being smart, I'm just a bit curious.

You could phone Kevin Street station, 666-9400, to get a definitive answer.
AFAIK it includes recovered stolen bikes where the owner is not know. I doubt it includes the Garda bicycles.

Does anyone have any experience of this auction? Any value at it?

Been once. People get auction fever and end up paying too much for the bikes being offered. So when i was there, there was no value to be had...

Definitely true for last year - until the last few bikes, which seemed to go for more reasonable prices.
