Fedora Core 2 downloading

    has anyone managed to download FC2 test1. i've managed to download the first iso a few times but every time I check the md5sum's they're different to the ones stated at the site. its well p1ss1ng me off....

    Use bittorrent like everyone else! It automagically checksums on the fly. If you do it right, you can make it use the files you have already downloaded as a base, so it'll only bother downloading the bits it thinks are bad.

    bit torrent's a no go for me. stuck behind a proxy in college (and even if it were possible file-sharing apps are very "frowned" upon here (its why we're behind the proxy in the first place)).

    guess i'll just wait for the proper FC2 release in April. should be on the cover CDs of some magazine then.
