go open up the staircase and make a little maze for the rat

Finished it a while ago. I recall playing this before and not being arséd the first time. Gets very tedious

the steps lift up, if you run the mouse over the start of them it says "stair key" or something like that. If you click on it it lifts up, and then you line up the tiles in the slots

If you need any more just let me know - I'm stuck again in the room with the fire, cos I can't remember how I did it last time!

you have to click two of the coloured wheels on the right to make up the colour of the wheel on the transporter.

whatever colour is on the teleporter click to appropriate two colours to acheive that mix, when the wheel turns grey click on the panel and then the base of the teleporter
