They're sitting around with ROss Robinson watching porn. He pretends to puke. Its poorly recorded so turning up the vol doesn't help. I read that somewhere.
Anyway, what are you doing listening to that album. Buy Iowa fercrissakes.

there watching some really sick sh*it eating porn as an initiation into the band of one of the members, not sure which one though, and xx the eponymous album is ten times better than iowa, download mate feed kill repeat though, theres a lot of original versions of some of the later songs like iowa, gently, only one etc, the original version of gently is imo far superior

btw caliden, thats one of the funniest sigs ive ever seen

Mate Feed Kill Repeat is fúcked up! They still had no idea what musical direction they were headin in when they did it (note: gently/bítchslap), and the old singer sucks ass! Plus they only had 6 members then....

That Bitchslap song is all I've heard from Mate feed et cetera, but I thought it was damn cool.

I've got the first album (the one with 'purity' before it was removed in later editions) but I still have to say I rather Iowa instead. It's a lot angrier and fast. But at the end of the day, they'll never top 'Surfacing' from the self titled album as their best song. I've been in the moshpit in the UK for this one and it kicked ass.

maybe, yeah i agree its a bit all over the place but there were a lot of really great ideas been thrown around the place, that album formed the basis of their sound, and a lot of it was reused

    slipknot - sic
    gently - remade
    only one - remade
    tattered and torn - remade
    killers are quiet - iowa

anders is every bit as good a singer as taylor, and whadaya mean they only had 6 members, thats more than enough id say

xx, i disagree surfacing is their best song, listen to the self titled track from mfkr, best song they ever wrote imo

Reserve judgement until you hear them live with Metallica (assuming you're going). 'Surfacing' will kick your ass. I haven't heard the track in question though, methinks I'll be on WinMX later.

I never really got into slipknot much. Iowa had its moments but..theyre still a bit too much of a mini rockers band for my liking. Iowa had one great song..it started off kinda slow with a cool bassline and built up and up..but yeah Id listen to something like Meshuggah, Cannibal corpse or Burzum before id listen to slipknot now.
