When I was over in LA I saw a TV ad for these things:
    http://www.doublechaser.com/

Has anyone tried them? Or know if they're available in any dublin pharmacy.

    mmm.. interesting..
I read a survey one time of different hangover cures..
Lucozade, Greasy Fry and a herb called NAC..

It concluded that the best of the lot was this thing called NAC.
(It apparantly replaces amino acids in yer liver or summit)
So I went to a herbal shop and bought some..
I've only tried it a couple of times, so can't conclusively say if it really works, but each time I haven't had a hangover (but have been very tired next day)
You have to take it before drinking, which I normally forget to do.
My work colleague reckons it works for him..

Apparantly governments will not fund hangover cure research,
as it obviously would lead to more people binge drinking,
and hence more pressure on the health service.

    Heard that they work.
However, you're a waste of time.

    Handbags at twelve paces!!

Haven't tried doublechaser, I don't believe in hangover cures other than lots of food, sleep and water. ;)

    - best hangover we discovered was cool pops like Mr.Freeze . One of my old housemates got a job there and brought a rake of them home. They ease the hairy mouth syndrome without you having to neck 5 litres of water and getting the resulting dicky stomach.

    Cheers

Mmmm blue Mr. Freeze..... mmmmm. I forgot about those. Fat frogs (the ice pops, not the drink!) are also curiously soothing when you have a hangover

Just as long as you've not been drinking the ****ers the night before - being offered another fat frog could have you puking and ****ting like a baby

    Cheers

Oh god yes! Fat frogs or Smirnoff Ice, WKD etc. make me feel like I've been eating lemons the previous night. Sour & stomach wrenching
