they never cover anything that happens in ireland. today 5 pople were killed and not a mention on euronews. if 1 person died in france it would be on the news

I quite like Euronews. Admittedly it doesn't cover much Irish content, but it's still pretty good, and one of the very few news channels to be multi-lingual.

I especially like their "No Comment" sections.

I agree that they could have some more balnaced coverage and that it could be less repetitive, but some of the reporting on European and World issues is quite interesting and can't be had from the other news channels.

I guess Euro is the key part in this. A major story in Ireland isn't nessecarily a major story across Europe.

Apart from anything else, they were probably awaiting footage etc from RTÉ

have tired watching SKY News. They repeat quite a lot as well.

Indeed Euro is the key to this

Indeed the Key to this is France = Big Country = Euro

What u think they'll have the news tomorrow. Maybe if a tourist from France Germany or Britian is involved.

Euronews relies on newsfeeds from other channels. If RTE aren't part of the agreement, then Euronews won't get much Irish news, unless it was a big enough story for one of the other members to come to Ireland and report the story. It works somewhat similar to Eurosport (or at least the way that used to work, I'm not sure if it is still operated that way).

I like euronews. The weather was the best, it had deadly music. Sadly they've changed it now so I don't bother anymore.

RTE own 1% of EuroNews. It is run by ITN but ITN do not own it they let go of their share awhile ago. It's ownership lies with many TV companies around Europe.

The bus crash was on euronews, I was up late and saw it. The no-comment bits are good.
