Right, I thought we could do with a small LAN to tide us over till Dub/Trin/whateverbigLAN that might be happening later. And the venue for this mighty event? Why the one and only Net House of course!!
If we get enough of a response here, we'll hold a MontyLAN-style small Kwaik LAN here, with much craic, drink and long-trays to be had by all
We'll see if we can sort something out in the way of prizes etc, but it's for the craic more than anything.
There's 23 places available, which will be allocated by posts here, presuming we'll hold the LAN.

• Taxi: It's right beside a club called Tram Co and every taxi driver will know where that is.
• Busses: From Town: 14, 14a, 15a, 15b, 15c, 83. Check the Dublin Bus Website for more details.
• Driving: From Town: Follow said busses Alternatively, have a map and figure it out from there!

It looks like Friday week, I'll confirm that later on. I'll sort out the time later, it'll probably be the usual evening-morning £10 thing that Monty holds for HL lans. If it's a success, we might make it regular, a la MontyLAN.

A problem: Monty's halflife LAN is on for the same Friday.
I could put the Q3 LAN on this Friday, but that would be fairly short notice, or I could move it to the Saturday night after Montylan, but that might interfere with other social plans...

Views on this anyone? How's this Friday or Saturday? How's Thursday, Friday or Saturday week?

Anyone who's not on the list in the thread "Names for SicoLAN" and turns up is running the risk of there not being a PC available for them. It's ok to drop in on the 3rd if you haven't put your name down, but we can't guarantee a place unless you're on the list.
