Anyone else remember these. They used to be huge back a while ago, and I remember thinking they were so cool when my cousin got one.

Reason i'm asking is, I've just seen one for the first time in ages in Argos, and wouldn't mind getting one sometime, but are the powders or whatever you add still available, cause I wouldn't have a clue where to pick them up.

We had one of those, we thought it was brilliant I used to ove this pink stuff that was loosely based on the movie gremilns, it's strange the mixtures it came up with - Witches Brew, Gizmo something or other.

I really liked the cream soda that it did, hadn't tasted something like that before so it was a real treat, now it tastes a bit naff tbh

My mother bought one a while ago. She likes the thing, but tesco have stopped doing the refils, i think offically from tomorrow cuz soda stream were bought out. Anyone know where to get gas refilS?

Yeah but instead of tasting like lemonade, it just made the water all fizzy and horrible ick ick ick tbh!!!

Sodastream was gorgeous!!! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Reminds me of my granny and being in her old house and being 5!!!

Reminds me of my memory of it actually. My cousin lived at me grannies for years for convenience, and he had one, and myself and my younger sister used to love using it, was about 8 or something at the time afair.

yeah i remember these....you always thought they were great until some smug git came along with a bottle of real coke and your just looked and tasted like the gloop that it was.....but the memories of anticipation for this simple thing ah

Nah, it's worse than sparkling water.... at least the sparkling water you buy doesn't have the nasty taste of the soda stream machine, I think it only happened with water though cos the soda stream flavour things hid the taste or something.

I would imagine that was foul Seamie, those things were sickly sweet enough when they WERE fizzed up :dunno:

Has anyone ever tried a broken coke fountain, when all that came out was the syrup? Now that's sweet.
