the sequel to the acclaimed ghost in the shell, it's all about Batou and his search for humanity that he lost (he's practically a machine now) and the memories of a woman he still has. theres been a lot of hype about this movie since its prequel was so damn good. also, mainly cause of the mix between the traditional animation and cg. if you're hardcore enough, kenji kawai is doing the music again for this one. its just going to own. here's the screens.

i dont know much about manga or even anime that this one is based on, but this is just crazy dope shit. combination of CG with cel shaded animation (think zelda windwaker with a bunch of robots). watch the trailer.

this is a live-action adaptation of a series called SHINZO NINGEN CASSHERN (CASSHAN - ROBOT HUNTER). if some resident anime nerds can tell us about this one, it would be nice. all i know is that the trailer looks good.

Yeah, they tend to have problems understanding their own language so they'll subtitle the films in English when they're released to make it easier for them to understand.
BTW. They speak Japanese in Japan.

I read somewhere that it happens after standalone complex. Also the standalone complex series is being released on DVD before the western release of innocence.

has anyone seen a trailer of a film from Japan, I think its basically about a demon or something amazing special effects, it looked very cool i thouhgt i found it on midnight eye that website but i cant find anything about it. It might be called Devil actually , although I could just be dreaming.

btw, Kenji Kawai is awesome! I love soundtrack! especially "The Night Stalker" and "Floating Museum"
