Ok I'm a regular poster to boards.ie but going unreg due to the nature of this topic.

Well, you see, I'm a third level student and sharing a house with another guy whom I've known since school.

Anyway, the thing is I came home early from college one evening last week (I usually make a habit of staying until about 10pm cos I'm in my final year) and walked into the sitting room where my pal was busy masturbating while watching a porn movie.

I naturally reacted in shock as did he. He jumped and couldn't get his pants up fast enough. I was speachless but managed to say "Sorry" before turning and running out the door.

Since that day my pal is afraid to even look me in the face. I know its natural for a guy to masturbate. I admit i do it myself, yet I don't know how to deal with this situation. seriously though, you should be grateful, I unfortunately walked in on my mum and stepdad at it when i was 11. needless to say they weren't expecting me, but i arrived at such a time that neither of them were in a position to stop, so even though i was stood there in shock they just kept going. it's very hard to look your mother in the face when you've seen her with her feet behind her ears getting a good seeing to. scared for life i tell you.

Thanks to all for the replies. I think the air has been cleared. Like I said we were both slighly embarrassed about it and didn't speak to each other bout it for a few days.

Then I took ye guys advice and jokingly asked could I see the porno (yes, we sat down together and watched it... I can see why he was turned on). It was a laugh. Finally it was just a slagging, we went to pub and got hammered, and that seems to be the end of it.

Of course he now knows I do it too, after all don't all guys, and we have agreed to confine it to our rooms (behind closed doors).
