How do you go about doing this? I want to retain all the program settings after the move.

Which OS - eg: Windows 95/98 won't care

NT/2K/XP will blue screen if the RAID controller uses a different driver to the one used on the current controller.

    IDE RAID or SCSI ?
eg: a promise card mirroring two IDE dirves should be more transparent than raid 5 on a SCSI card..

Also if the existing drive is FAT then easy enough to copy files - if NTFS the would recommend you use GHOST to do the transfer.

If you had NT4 server then you could simply load the RAID driver, software mirror the drive, shutdown and remove the original drive. - not sure if can get away with such things on 2k/2k3
