Anybody know how I can get this channel in Ireland? What kind of dish/receiver would I need?

It depends on which c+ network it is. Theres a spanish c+ on hispasat which is a nagravision encrypted network.
The french c+ to the best of my knowledge is a possibility with a full subscription.

And c+ nordic is viewable on 1*W and is conax encrypted.

A 80cm dish or above will suffice for the first two. I receive the latter with an 80cm dish but its a weak signal - probably better with 1/1.2m dish.

I use a skystar2 pci card receiver. Otherwise, any digital stb with a cam/card slot in combination with the right cam would make the first and last options a possibility.

    hth.

If you are after the french Canal+ package then you should be able to pick it up fine of Astra1 using a 80cm or 1m dish. I use a 1m dish here and get a very strong signal from it. Likeise for Hotbird and Likewise for Thor. As Eurorunner said any decent reciever should be fine for your needs.

Any decent receiver with a CAM slot or built in CAM, plus a subscription for the service you require.
