Win 2k error msg

Msg box pops up saying "Diff time" every minute or so. very annoying. thought it was the browser but installed mozilla and still happens. Any ideas for how i can stop it?

Msg box?, what does it look like someone could be messing around with you by using messenger(not MSN!!) to send you msg boxes, go into services and disable the messenger service. See what happens.

Disable Windows Time service in Services.

Maybe post up a screenshot of the popup box (not of the entire screen, alt & print screen) might give us a clue.
