newbie online gaming question

This is probably the stupidest question ever but...

I just got the Unreal Tournament 2004 demo and I wanted to play online.

Somebody posted in another thread that they had set up servers for UT2K4 specifically:

    games1.iol.ie:7778
    games1.iol.ie:8777
    games5.iol.ie:7777
    games5.iol.ie:8777

How do I connect to these servers? I couldn't find anything when I searched the boards. They don't seem to come up in the server browser and it only lets you add IPs in the favourites. Sorry if I'm being thick but at least there'll be more cannon fodder when I get online :)

    Thanks in advance

dont think the all seeing eye supports ut2k4 yet.

What you need to do is either add these to your favourites or hit the (default) @ key which will pop down the console.

Once the consoles down type "open games1.iol.ie" or whatever server (without "")

    have fun :D

Thanks for that. Didn't know about the "@" function at all.

I'll be the one walking in straight lines with the shield gun.

Irish server ip addresses + ports

    games1.iol.ie
    193.120.123.136:7778
    193.120.123.136:7877

    games5.iol.ie
    193.120.123.137:7777
    193.120.123.137:7877

Taken from the other thread (thanks to toast)

Does anybody know how to add the Irish COD servers to the favourites list in Multiplayer COD mode. I have tried to find the servers and manually add them but get nothing.

    thx.

Get a program like All seeing Eye or something. You can add them to favourites there.
