Does anybody know anygud drinking games for parties and for just out in the pub??

The Master Of The Thumb is quite good, and requires almost no effort. One person is assigned title of the Master Of The Thumb. When he puts his thumb on the table, everyone else must do the same. The last person to do it has to down their pint, or whatever.

Theres a chess one but instead of chess pieces, shot glasses are used. So whenever you take an opponents piece, ya have a shot. It would be so much better with draughts.:cool:

Hour of Power, bascially drink a shot of beer, every 30 seconds, or 60 seconds, whatever.

It might sound easy, but you can easily go through 5 or 6 pints in under an hour, oh, and you can't go for a piss.

Drop the penny ( cent whatever )

You start the game by dropping a penny into someones pint ... *yes I know this ruins the pint* ... into their drink .. prefarably a full drink ... then they have to down it ... this is the playing coin for the remainder of the evening ... no new coins can be introduced... the first victim is now in posession of the coin ...and control of the game.... conversation goes on ... they then drop it in someones elses full drink.

I watched my mate down a pint of guinness ... drop the penny in someone elses drink ... go to the bar ... and as soon as he sat down the penny landed in his new pint ... he downed that promptly and got another!

The daddy of all drinking games is "Withnail and I" and I've only ever seen one person complete it.

Beg/Borrow/Buy/Steal/Rent/Download a copy of the film withnail and I. Buy a bottle of gin, sherry, red wine and vodka, 2 bottle of whiskey and optional lighter fluid and 1/4 of grass. (should cover about 5 people) Now you have to match withnail, the film's alcoholic, drink for bloody drink throughout the film, like I say, the lighter fluid is optional. It starts with a triple whiskey and a double gin.

Other games of note include b52 (try to make the perfect B52 float, if you fail, you must drink it) and reservoir dogs game (a shot of beer everytime someone says ****)

I know too many...
Each person has to give a famous name. Each player takes a turn, starting in a clockwise direction.
The first name can be anyname (ie: Roger Moore), but the next name MUST begin with the first letter for the previous surname! So after Rodger Moore, the next christian name must begin with M, so Micheal Jackson say. Next person will then be, Jack Nicklson, then Nick Faldo, etc..
If someone says a name with two lwtters the same ie: Sharon Stone, or Janet Jackson, or Micheal Moore, the game switches direction.
So if the first person says Roger Moore, the second one says Micheal Jackson, and the third says Janet Jackson, then its the second persons go again.
If it's a one word name eg Bono, or Ena, it skips a person.
Hears the fun part. You can't repeat a name. And you HAVE to drink while thinking of a name. (so it get hard)

Drinking games are great. I wish I could remember more of them

I don't know what this one is called, but it's similar to that "Master Of The Thumb" by the sounds of it.
You just sit and talk, and someone (anyone) puts their hand to their forhead. You can either use a flat palm or in the shape of an 'L' (as in Loser). The last person to do it has to finish off their drink.
After a few drinks people forget that they are playing the game, especially when they are engrossed in conversation. Then you will suddenly see everyone madly slap themselves in the face to avoid being one who has to drink..

Another one is 'matchbox'. You have a box of matches, and take turns throwing it in the air. If it lands on the long narrow edge, you have to take a mouthful. If it lands on the flat side, you have to finish your drink. If it lands on the short edge, you have to finish your drink...and jhave a second drink....

Watch Reservoir Dogs. Every time someone in the film says "F*CK" you have to take a large swig of drink.

No one has ever made it to the end........

Ever played kings? its great although i dont remeber fully how to play it. so here we go
Get a bunch of mates round, male and female, bring plenty of drink, noone is allowed leave to go to the toilet, if they do there shud be a punishment of some kind and a deck of cards. everyone must have a drink in front of them(Duh) one person draws a card, depending on the card they draw the person has to do something for excample( once the person has completed to task his /she passes it on to the person on his/her right)
- a king- everyone downs their drink
Queen- u rename eveyrone( the names can be serious or just funny, i.e rusty nuts or something) everyone must then call each ohter by their new names( until another queen is drawn, which will result in everyone getting new names), if someone forgets to call someone by their new name, they have to take a drink
Jack- a toilet break for the person, they can hold on to it or give it to someone else( for free or for a dare)
10- the person has to try and rap for 10 seonds about somthing, without stopping(if they do..take a drink)
9-rhyming poetry- the person starts a rhyming line, the person to his/her right has to continue it, but rhyming it with the last word of theother persons line( it should continue round till it gets back to the person who drew the card)
8- a dare( other ppl make it up for u)
7-down a drink
and so on...... if the person fails to complete the task they have to face the punishment, it cud be anything from licking the dogs balls to having 3 shots....
try and have some cards where ppl have to drink multiple drinks for that bit of extra fun

Coins game:
you and a few friends throw a coin at the wall. The persons coin that makes it closest to the wall don't have to drink and all the others do.

Capitals game:
you and a few frinds in alaphabetical order name capitals to countries, when someone can't think of one they drink and the same letter goes to the next person. So on and So on!


Those are the only two I know
