i have a desktop and a laptop both running xp pro & office xp. They are both networked.

I wish to synchronise my email on both machines for backup and security reasons.
At the moment i use the desktop for email.

Can this be done & if so how?

    Looking forward to your replies

Share a folder on the desktop machine containing the .pst file that outlook will be reading from, and connect using the same file from 2 machines.

Course you won't be able to use both machines at once :)

The best idea would be to get an IMAP mail account, but you'd have to talk to your mail provider for that. You could always leave your POP mail on the server and have each client download it but that's messy.
