    Hi,
Ha anyone used a bluetooth dongle with Red Hat 9. Red Hat 9 already contains bluetooth support in the form of blueZ but configuring it seems to be the problem.
I am using a belkin T81000 dongle. Having no problems using it with windows.
I know I have to install some rpm files from blueZ but where do I install these?
Do I need to touch the /usr/src/linux-2.4/drivers/bluetooth directory.
    e.

So long as the dongle is supported, listed on the bluez pages, just follow the bluez documentation - it's well written so just follow the steps. Your dongle is supported by the bluez stack - you need the hci_usb & bluefw modules loaded. After that http://www.holtmann.org/linux/bluetooth/ should sort you out! :)

The rpm's will look after where they are to be installed and no you don't need to go mucking about in said source directory.

    Dizz
