I'll believe this when i see it.
Also sticking him amongst cruiserweights is a bad idea considering how Vince feels about cruiserweights in general. And Hardy is a heavyweight in comparison to Mysterio, Kidman, Jamie Noble and Ultimo Dragon! ;)

I think that Jeff Hardy could restore the star power to the WWE, mabey the cruiser weight devision will be the impropper use for him, but it is IMO, its important for him to return.

I respect Jeff Hardy. As a matter of fact ill go that bit higher, I Love the bastard! I admire his heart, his love, his passion. But why did he bail on the WWE i hear you say? Cos he is physically destroyed. But wounds heal given time to mend. And I have a strong feeling that no one on this board will understand how stressful it is to work for such a high profile company as the WWE, until we all become wrestlers.

When everyone gave Jeff Hardy a hard time, i got sooooo pist off, I even stopped posting here for over 7 months.

Jeff Hardy diserves our respect as much as the next. Mean Marck Callosus, the Pegasus Kid, El Mascera Magica, Stunning Steve Williams. These were the names that our idols today were shut down to. These were the names of the people that were told they were too small, or didnt have enough skill, they were shut down every day of their carrer. Well today Mean Marl Callosus is the Undertaker, The Pegasus Kid is the 2004 Royal Rumble winner, Mascera Magica is Eddie Gurrerio, and we all know steve williams.

What Im trying to prove in this rant is that not only does Jeff Hardy deserve our respect, but he has the potential to become a huge star, a legend... why not? I think he has the drive, and that all you need. The Undertaker can NOT straighten his elbows due to constant injuries, does that mean we should give him a hard time, just cos he can preform as much as he used to? If you think so... thats your oppinion, and Im fine with that. Jeff Hardy may be injured, but he can still draw the crowd, he can excite them, he can make em pop like Molly Hollys Cherry.(Im sure that will be edited later, im sorry, Im just being real passionate and loud at the moment, Skaksperan stylee) and thats all that I want. To see a exciting show, to be entertained, im sure thats what we all want. So why do we give him such a hard time. I will personal defend Jeff at every turn and twist, while I wait for him to return....

Jeff Hardy.... please come back, we miss you.

    HANZA!

I've got to say I mostly agree. I love Jeff Hardy. I like to see someone who has been a huge fan as a kid do well in the business and live their dream. Unfortunately I think he found out that his dream wasn't all it lived up to be. I do wish he'd make a return though. He wasn't the greatest wrestler, but he was somebody who could easily get the crowd standing on their feet.

I don't think he'd ever be a major star though.

I still stand by the fact that he and RVD worked well together, i wouldn't say he was shown up at invasion and the hardcore ladder rematch the month later was pretty good as well. If anyone was at fault at the invasion match, it was RVD cos he was too busy trying to get the RVD character over instead of getting the angle over.

Not that he was the only one, thats a major reason why the angle in itself bombed.
Jeff had the potential to be the next Michaels. You think about it. Michaels sucked for well over two years before he hit his stride at Wrestlemania X (he went singles one week before the 91 Rumble, remember that). He couldn't do a promo to save his life (and the Survivor Series 92 one against Bret was proof), the thing is Jeff wasn't arsed putting in the work that was needed, and therefore he bombed. And older brother was given the push.

Personally I think the tag division took a major downslide since they split the Hardyz up. I'm all on for progression as long as suitable replacements are provided.

I'm all on for a Jeff comeback as long he's up for working for his position.

PS - None of those guys smiaras mentioned took as crazy bumps like Jeff did, Jeff's bumps at the top of MSG entrance and the 20 ft Ladder at WM16 put Sabu to shame... Sorry!

the bump shane took in a match with steve blackman a couple summerslams ago sticks out in my mind as the worst ive ever seen. but some guys in ecw (cant remember specifics) were pretty sick, but it kind of became routine as u were seeing it every week.

Y'all are getting off the point.

ECW was a different product to WWE totally. ECW, even tho Im a huge fan of it, was bump, bump, sick bump etc. That was entertaining, but eh.... ECW WENT OUT OF BUISNESS F F S!!!!! The voilence got stale! Why do u think John Znadig is wondering why ROH is bettering his CZW.

New Jack was a hit man (seriously), Perry Saturn and Kronus were Marines. You know those tattoo on their chests, there done with a red hot shaving blade, ground up charcole, and urine. They were all just as hard as nails. Balls and Rotten admitted to never having legit training.

HHH trained for 3 years in Walter Kowalskis school of wrestling. Slightly differnet aint they?

The reason why Jeff got more messed up then the ECW guys was because he was the black sheep of the hardcore devision/additude era. He did the bumps his way. Like I said before, the Undertaker is messed too bad. He is destroyed, but wrestling is a contact sport. Like RVD said, there is only so much one can do as far as keeping moves safe goes. Wrestlers are trained to shoot so they can obsorbe the pain and get on with it. So F**K Zack Gowen and Randy Ortan with their constant injuries. Be a man, oh my god, If Hayabusa could walk he'd l kick all their asses.

I totally miss Jeff Hardy, a Jeff Hardy comeback would be imo the best thing ever. I hope this comeback rumour turns out to be true.

would be kind of fitting with current wwe trends if they brought him back the day after wrestlemania, or possibly have him interfere in the cruiser match at wm.

id imagine bring him back on smackdown an edge would be the surprise on raw.

on a completely differant topic does anyone know if wrestlemania will be shown on sky sports/ box office this year or will setanta get it?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,165 ✭✭✭Hanza

Sky Sports 1 will be showing it at 2am on Sunday 14th/Monday 15th March.

Its not a European PPV, so it will be shown for free. All Setanta will provide us with is Backlash, Vengence, and Armageddon.
