I used to enjoy RVD's high flying antics but its the same old routine everytime he gets into the ring these days

I think he lost direction once the hardcore title was gotten rid of.

not even bouts with Rey can really help him.
his mic work is not the best and i think ppl are getting bored with him

Yes on the basis that he has gone stale.

If they turn him heel they need to do like his ECW days where he was going around as the whole f'n show and give him a manager like Bill Alfonso to hold his chairs and stuff. Let him be the only one who is not restricted by WWE style and he will stand out and get over again as a heel and eventually turn face again.

yea he was great in his old ecw heel days from what i saw of him. he can be such an arrogant prick, he totally had the entire ecw crowd hating him. if he was turned heel, i think it would be time to have him win a world championship. theres only so much time u can spend at the level he's at before fans start to think he will never do it and stop caring all together.

Well said Paddy. Ppl give him a good shout and all but they probably are doubtful about him winning the big one as a face.

Having said that he did tkae the ic belt on raw in one of the best matches i've seen and i wasn't expecting that.

The thing is, RVD suffers from the demolition effect.
What this means is that regardless of if you're a heel or a face, the fans cheer like nuts. This is what forced Demolition and the Powers to do the double turn at the 88 Survivor Series.

Even at InVasion 2001, RVD got cheered, and he was on the heel team! While X-Pac got booed out of the building and he was face.
(granted it was probably for a completely different reason ;) )

Same as Austin. The most unsuccessful turn ever!
    Made him more popular!

this was the case when he first came in and his stuf was new and impresive but the people dont care now and it is a good time to turn him heel (if he resines his contract)

I think he should stay as a face, but to improve himself he needs to go back to his ecw roots

mcmahns new direction of slower matches and less high spots is realy helping rvd (not what hhh had in mind) he can still wrestle with the best of them and his fude with randy made for some geate matches
