What happens if you don't receive an item off Ebay?

I won this Nokia 6600 on Ebay and I paid for it through the sellers bank account. He said he received the money and he would send the phone on Monday (Today) so I sent him an e-mail to ask him if he sent it. I have him on my MSN and he came on a few minutes ago and went off straight away. I have a feeling he blocked me from MSN and there must be a reason why he hasn't replied to the e-mail. he also said he would leave me feedback once he received that money which he didn't do.

I think Ebay pay a percentage of the cost but that wouldn't be enough. I am probably just paranoid but what would happen if he didn't send me the phone?

i have bought loads of stuff off ebay without a problem mate, and occasionally seller would stop replying yet i would get the email reports, but all would work out fine in the end,

i'd give it 2 weeks before i'd start to really worry

if it doesen't show up you can report him to ebay and he will lose his username and i doupt any seller would want that

I am not whinging, i am just wondering if I don't receive the product in about 2 weeks what happens. I am about 95% sure I will receive it but the other 5% doen't want to lose €410.

i can't find anything he's sold that wasn't some con to get cheap crap from some place or another. didn't you read his previous sales?

you never know, it might turn up. if it doesn't then you can get hold of his bank or ebay and try and get the money back.

if that fails then tell him yuor big brother lives in london and will find him and kickthe money out of him if he doesn't send you your phone.

if you have his name and the town he lives in then you can probably find him.

If you don't get anything the most ebay will compensate you is £105. Taking your money and refusing to supply the goods is fraud so if you have enough supporting evidence you can also report it to the police, as you have his bank details tracing him shouldn't be a problem for them.

At least one EBay person with good feedback had thier account hacked. Was on the news (buyer lost the cost of a new motorcycle).

You should used an escrow company. If you put it straight into his bank account then you can get him that way.

It is very easy to fake feedback.
