    Nice one, and how does it run, Im grabbing the Fedora ISO`s 2moro for a gander, altho I`v found Mandrake to be better than Red Hat.

    For your Dvd`s you prolly need some sort of plugin for full compatability. I use Mplayer too, just grabbed all the plugins. Maybe try VideLan

    Shame on the 3d front, im not sure what the story is on SIS based chipsets, that said theres bound to be some sort of drivers out there.

    Is there not an update utility for downloading stuff(up2date) or some apt equivilent.

    Just Curious. Why didn't you use openoffice as you office suite?

    I used staroffice 7 because it has java build into the install and the nesessary plugin
    for mozilla and its the one I am used two in using.

    It does run very well nice and smooth maybe because the 2.6 chip and mamory 512MB
    I know my modem does not work lucky me I have a network at home to supply
    the internet to my laptop using the built in network card

    I will check out videolan
