Who do ye think has the best signature on boards.ie?

Personally I'll say either sarky (for the muppet thing)

Or barry aldwell (for the amusing self-insult)

What do ye all think?

All the image sigs are crap, anything bigger than the image in Sykpak`s sig is woeful, keep em small and funny not big and photshoppy warezy

you`re prime example, i like reading the sigs, as some of them can be witty and funny, but stupid image ones like your`s annoy me. When i view a post i view it with as many replies as possible(in the settings), loading in pointless sigs like your`s makes baby Jebus cry

I have broadband(512/128), i use the minimal skin, its not a bandwidth issue, its a speed issue, are you suggesting i upgrade my dsl just to accomodate retarded sigs like yours which are neither witty or well made.

no, i just find that your over-reacting, boards isnt something you can look through quickly anyway, personally i rarely go on for under an hour.

And i wouldnt regard 14kb a large picture TBH

I wouldnt regard it large either , but equate 14kb image to 14kb of text and you`ll see where you come short, in that your 14kb waste offers nothing except to say that you can use MSPAINT. Viewing a thread at the maximum 40 posts per page. Imagine if these are unique users each with 14kb images which is around HALF A MEGABYTE on sigs alone.

your sig is too big rapheal, bring it into photoshop and resize it to 300 x 125 pixels and make sure tis below 20kb, oh and i think sionnachs sigs are the best, mans a genius
