Volunteers Wanted

Hi, I am a psychology Ph.d student at Manchester University, England doing research into sexual risk taking. Specifically, why informed women take
risks with their sexual heath e.g don't practise safe sex, STD & HIV dangers, etc. I hope to develop a behavioural model which will help health professionals more accurately target education and services in this area. I need help from volunteers to complete a questionnaire. My website http://www.rjfarrow.com has all the details so please visit it and fill in my research questionnaire.

This is a serious piece of research so would appreciate any help you could give. Please forward this to anyone you think appropriate.

I think that's a bit simplistic. Of course there are many men skulking around trying to take advantage. It's embarrassing every time I go out how low some guys stoop.

But I think many women know what they are getting into even before they drink. Many women enjoy to let go.

I'm tired of having to defend myself for being a man..."men only have one thing on their minds"..."the poor thing didn't have a choice"...blah blah blah.

I think that women have a lot more freedom now and put themselves in situations they want to be in. I think to wake up the next morning and regret the night before is a little bit naive.

Women actually do enjoy sex too....

I'm a woman, and believe me, women are every bit as capable of taking advantage of men as men are of women.

I hate when women go on the "I hate men.." crap rampage.

Just because I have been drinking does not mean that I suddenly become a pushover and men suddenly gain some kind of sexual prowess. Not all women consider themselves victims, just to let you know.

Besides, if any guy took advantage of me, Excelsior would beat the crap out of him.

Okay, well maybe he'd give him a good talking-to.

Hmmm, with men its the reverse, a couple of drinks and they are anyones....... but that would prefer one of the gorgeous chicks that seem to make up 99.9% of the population at that stage.

People think so little of me

I know I was being over simplistic - over simplifying is a habit of mine - so here I go again : Drunk people tend to take more risks so when women drink they are far more likely to have unprotected sex.
