Just thought Id let you guys now about this crowd, Ive been using for a while they cover the majority of the world incl: USA, Oz etc

    Unfortunately landlines only, no mobiles.

    Budget Telecom Callsaver

Call the world for the same price of a national call:

    0818 242526

    OnPeak: 8.2c /per min
    OffPeak: 4.9 / per min

All explained on the line, beats all the other "cheap call" providers.

    Im well happy! ;-)

Sounds like a good service Greggy. Is it that ou can't call mobiles in other countries (because you can certainly use your own mobile to access that number in Ireland, though I am guessing it is at a different rate to the rates you mention).

It tells you that you cant call that number through the 0818 number, and I think it gives you an alternative €€€ number to call

I use Century Home for international calls, its a pay as you go service with a carrier preselect number ... very nice to deal with, and call charges are better than most ... I used to use Swiftcall, but CH is working out to be 20% of the cost and the rates are 24/7 .. (no on or off-peak)

I buy "First National" calling cards in Spar or other newsagents. For €10, I get 500 minutes to China, which is always one of the more expensive places to dial.

That's 2c a minute! (plus the cost of a local call in Dublin). Very good value.

Check out http://13434.ie/index2.php 13434 - AFAIK the cheapest calls available at the moment - 0.5c to most European countries (landline) , 0.0c to UK and US landlines + setup fee of 5c per call

I use dialwise. Mainly call USA and it works out at price of a local call.
http://www.dialwise.ie/index2.php. I would do most of my calling in the evening so it works out a 1c per min.
