    Hey,
about 3 months ago while I was in NYC I bought myself a pait of Nike Indoor football boots, the fancy two-tone ones that cost about €120, but I got 'em for $40, which was nice.
However, pretty much since day one (I wear them once a week for 1 hr) the sole seemed to be coming away, and tonight a big flap came lose that I had to pull off to continue play.
Needless to say I am pretty pissed off to I went looking for some nike place to bitch at.
After spending about 30 mins searching nike.com I eventually found the returns section, only to read their returns policy:

The following WILL NOT be accepted:

Returns from consumers residing outside the U.S.

What sort of crap is this?
Anyone have any experience like this, or even any advice??

    - A Pissed of soon to be Nike hater.

Rubbish they now use unborn kids to make runners now.

And relating to the thread thing or whatever serves you right for purchasing the product of a ruthless corporate giant..

Can you all stop your begrudgery? Most people when they visit the US end up buying Nike etc because they're so much cheaper there. Why shouldn't this guy get some after sales service on some faulty shoes?

Have you tried emailing someone high up in Nike, or sending a recorded letter to someone high up in Nike UK?

    Where'd that come from?
All I'm saying is that if you pay 1/3 price for something, if it breaks or falls apart then possibly it wasn't the best quality merchandise.
Maybe he got them in some kind of crazy sale, maybe he got them from some cheap shoestore. Maybe we don't know the full story :ninja:

Eh, are you aware that Nike shoes are generally half the price in the US? Have you ever heard of a sale? If he bought trainers from a proper shoe shop and they weren't seconds, they shouldn't be falling apart....

For all of you morons who tried to turn this into an Anti-Nike thread, piss off.

    For the rest of you;

Yes, most things are much cheaper in the US, and I bought them at a Nike Outlet Store, which, if you check their website, has the exact same rights as buying them from footlocker or anywhere else.

The problem is that I cant find anywhere to complain to!
No european email address or anything, I mean what are you supposed to do in Europe if you buy them in Europe and they fall apart?

Surely they have better customer service than just giving the headquarters address in Holland??

What "full story" are you looking for exactly?

If dont give a sh1t if I only paid 10 rupies for a pair of Nike shoes, if they fall apart I want a bloody refund!
