I was looking to get an image printed (not too different from the one in my sig...) on a black t-shirt. Anyone know anywhere that does this in Dublin? Or is there any sort of special printer paper that irons onto your tshirt or anything?

There's a place on the first floor of the Stephens Green centre, I think.

Einstürzende is correct, there is a place 1st floor Stephens Green shopping centre; however, they generally don't print onto black t-shirts, just white, but that's for their own designs. In this case, I suggest the following:

Get t-shirt transfer paper (Easons, O'Connell St., you'll get a fair few A4 sheets for a reasonable price) and print it out at home (ink/laser jet IIRC), then instead of ironing it on yourself (as it can be dodgy) just bring black t-shirt + image into them and they should steam press it for you, pro bono. Just ask nicely.

Note: Make sure you mirror the image before you print it out, as it get mirror'ed when put onto the t-shirt.

    HTH :)

    1) that shop in stephens green is crap, idiots.
info : i gave em my cd slevee, they had to get it scanned (few days )
i come back, nope, dont have it, (took around a week plus, probably 2 weeks)
When they got it scanned and printed it was WRONG ! they scanned in the wrong images, so i said **** it, just do it.

2)You cannot get it done on black
info: The paper is transparent stuck on white paper, so aNYthing transparent on a black background doesnt quite show up properly at all, so the background needs to be white. Although there was some trick to this, i cant remember.
P.s : ironing it urself isnt dody at all, i done it, comes out pretty good, although i forgot to mirror my image :(

    3)they do black tshirts.
info: but i think they only do lettering on them !

Doing it via the steam press ensures you'll cover the whole area at once though (provided the image is larger than the flat of your iron) - this will help ensure that no part of the image "peels".

Yeah, always have to remember to mirror the damn image :p

yeah but why would they do it for free ? they`d be losing business.
Just saying it does work if u do it yourself.

I never said they would do it for free, just that they might, if you ask nicely. They may charge you, who knows, but it's only 10secs work ffs...

According to the hot girl in the tight t-shirt that worked there, the Stephens Green place will do black t-shirts for you, but you can only get white put on them... like white text or something.

this is probably of no use but there's a place in blanchardstown shopping centre too, and i've seen black t-shirts with stuff on them in there...
