this particular device is targeted at the US: providing tri-band 850/1800/1900 network support and EDGE support (e.g. which AT&T US launced last year)

'our' tri-band handsets offer 900/1800/1900 network support, or the likes of the latest Motorola's who offer quad band 850/900/1800/1900 - also here in Western Europe we are currently more focused on 3G rather EDGE roll-outs

ah now, the US usually follows us in handset capability - any mates in the US always complain that we get all the new/cool devices before them - it's only fair they start getting devices targeted at their network's capabilities:)

The Siemens SX-1 is much better than that Nokia. The Siemens has a faster CPU, better resolution on the photos, more internal memory and if you use the nes emulator in the siemens you have sound (nokia plays only without sound) :)

I was looking at the 6600 before I bought the Siemens, and it wasn't even half as good. The 6620 seems to be an improvement, but still not as good as the siemens.

Or you could play ngage games with sound. but playing ngage games on the SX1 would raise more eyebrows!

Not sure if I understood you correctly ..... but you know that you can play N-Gage games on the SX-1, right?

I'm playing pandemonium on it right now, works perfect!

Oh i understand, i just cant always type very well!

I have a 6600 with tony Hawks and Sonic on it at the moment, im just saying that it would turn more heads having the ngage logo popping up on the SX-1!

    Such poor design by nokia.

I've just realized that the N-Gage game support on the SX-1 is kinda limited. Only 4 or so games work...

Anyways... still a cool phone :)
